Aims and Scope
Advances in Life and Medical Sciences (ALMS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality
research in life sciences, biomedical sciences, clinical medicine, and healthcare.
The journal provides a platform for researchers, clinicians, healthcare professionals, and scientists to share innovative research that advances
the understanding of biological systems, human health, disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. It welcomes both fundamental and

ALMS welcomes original, unpublished manuscripts that are not under consideration by another journal.

Manuscript Preparation
Authors should prepare manuscripts in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx).
Each manuscript should include:

Authors are encouraged to follow the journal manuscript template before submission.

APA (7th Edition) or Harvard referencing style may be used. The selected style should be applied consistently throughout the manuscript.
Language
All manuscripts must be written in clear and professional English.
Peer Review
All submissions undergo an initial editorial assessment followed by double-blind peer review.

There are no submission charges.
An Article Processing Charge (APC) is payable only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication.

Editorial Process
The Advances in Life and Medical Sciences (ALMS) is committed to a fair, transparent, and efficient editorial process to ensure the quality
and integrity of published research.
Step 1. Manuscript Submission
Authors should submit manuscripts through the journal’s online submission system. All submissions should comply with the journal’s
submission requirements and manuscript preparation guidelines.
Step 2. Initial Editorial Screening
The Editorial Office conducts an initial assessment to determine whether the manuscript:
·Falls within the journal’s aims and scope
·Meets the basic submission and formatting requirements
·Demonstrates appropriate academic quality and originality
Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be returned to the authors for revision or declined before peer review.
Step 3. Similarity Check
All submissions undergo a similarity check to identify potential plagiarism or duplicate publication.
Manuscripts must meet the journal’s originality requirements before proceeding to peer review.
Step 4. Editorial Assessment
The Editor-in-Chief or an assigned editor evaluates the manuscript for its scholarly contribution, methodological soundness,
and suitability for external review.
Step 5. Double-Blind Peer Review
Suitable manuscripts are sent to independent expert reviewers under a double-blind peer-review process.
Typically, each manuscript is reviewed by at least two reviewers who evaluate:
·Originality and significance
·Research methodology
·Academic quality
·Clarity of presentation
·Relevance to the journal
Step 6. Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers’ reports, the editor will make one of the following decisions:
·Accept
·Minor Revision
·Major Revision
·Reject
Additional reviewers may be invited if further evaluation is required.
Step 7. Revision
Authors invited to revise their manuscripts should submit:
·A revised manuscript; and
·A point-by-point response to the reviewers’ comments
Revised manuscripts may undergo additional review when necessary.
Step 8. Acceptance and Production
After final acceptance, manuscripts proceed to:
·Copyediting
·Typesetting
·Author proof review
·DOI registration
·Online publication
Accepted articles may be published online as soon as production is complete.
