Editorial Screening

Manuscripts that fail to meet these criteria may be rejected without external review.

External Review

Suitable manuscripts are assigned to independent experts for evaluation of:

·Ethical compliance

Reviewers are expected to provide constructive, evidence-based recommendations.

Review Timeline

The journal aims to provide an initial decision within a defined review period. Review duration may vary depending on manuscript complexity and reviewer availability.

Editorial Decisions

Based on reviewer reports and editorial evaluation, decisions may include:

Major revisions may be subject to additional rounds of review. The Editor-in-Chief holds final responsibility for publication decisions.

Confidentiality

Reviewer Responsibilities

Reviewers are expected to:

Conflicts of Interest

Editors will avoid assigning reviewers with conflicts of interest. Any potential conflicts must be disclosed immediately.

Appeals

Authors may submit a reasoned appeal if they believe a decision was incorrect. Appeals will be independently evaluated by the editorial team.

4. AI Usage Policy

Purpose

Cytelix Press recognizes that artificial intelligence (AI) technologies may be used as supportive tools in scholarly writing and research communication.

This policy aims to ensure transparency, accountability, and responsible use of AI-assisted technologies in manuscript preparation and submission.

Permitted Uses

AI tools may be used to assist authors in the following non-substantive tasks:

·Grammar, spelling, and stylistic correction

·Data processing and visualization support

The use of AI must not replace the intellectual contribution and responsibility of the authors.

Disclosure Requirements

Authors must disclose any use of artificial intelligence tools in manuscript preparation where such use goes beyond minor language editing.

The disclosure should include:

·The name of the AI tool(s) used

·The purpose of use

·A brief description of the extent of AI involvement

Failure to disclose relevant AI assistance may be considered a breach of publication ethics.

Authorship and Responsibility

Any such use may be treated as research misconduct and handled according to the journal’s ethical policies.

The editorial office reserves the right to request additional information regarding the use of AI tools in submitted manuscripts.

Manuscripts may be rejected or returned for revision if authors fail to provide adequate disclosure or if AI use is deemed inappropriate or misleading.

Final Responsibility Statement

All content submitted to Cytelix Press journals remains the sole responsibility of the authors.

Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are accurate, original, and comply with all ethical and publication standards, regardless of any AI assistance used during preparation.

5. Data Availability Policy

Principle

Cytelix Press is committed to promoting transparency, reproducibility, and research integrity. Authors are encouraged to make research data available in accordance with ethical, legal, and disciplinary standards.

Data Availability Statement

All submitted manuscripts must include a Data Availability Statement.

The statement should clearly indicate:

·Where the supporting data can be accessed (if available)

·The conditions under which data can be accessed

·Any restrictions on data availability

If data are not publicly available, authors must provide a clear justification.

Recommended Data Repositories

Authors are encouraged to deposit research data in appropriate repositories, including but not limited to:

·Public data repositories (e.g., domain-relevant or general repositories)

Where applicable, datasets should be assigned persistent identifiers (e.g., DOI).

Cytelix Press encourages authors to follow the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) where applicable to enhance research transparency and long-term usability.

6. Corrections & Retractions

Principle

Cytelix Press is committed to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record.

Corrections

Corrections may be issued when published articles contain:

·Factual or typographical errors

·Errors in author information or metadata

·Production or formatting mistakes

Corrections will be clearly identified and linked to the original article.

Retraction

Retractions may be issued when:

·Research findings are unreliable

·Research misconduct is confirmed

·Honest error significantly affects the validity of the findings

Retraction notices will remain permanently accessible and will be clearly linked to the original article.

Expressions of Concern

When there is inconclusive evidence or investigations are ongoing, the journal may issue an Expression of Concern to alert readers.

Such notices will remain visible until the investigation is concluded and appropriate action is taken.

Transparency and Record Integrity

All post-publication updates, including corrections, retractions, and expressions of concern, will be handled transparently to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.

7. Archiving Policy

APCs are charged only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication.
